We are currently looking for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Laundry Aide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently remove and dispose of waste while assisting laundry personnel as required, along with performing various related tasks as assigned.
- Engage appropriately with residents, clients, fellow staff, supervisors, and the public.
- Address customer preferences, adhere to industry standards, and fulfill the needs of residents while complying with federal and state regulations.
- Implement infection control measures and universal precautions to maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times. Follow established protocols for reporting, isolation, and hand hygiene.
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and hanging garments.
- Label residents' clothing accurately.
- Ensure the timely return of residents' laundry within 8 to 24 hours.
- Conduct daily cleaning of the laundry area, including sanitizing machines, emptying waste bins, sweeping, and mopping.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; experience in housekeeping or healthcare environments is advantageous. Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
