About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at ExpertHiring. As a key member of our instructional team, you will work closely with our Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy to students.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with speech language and hearing screenings, following individual educational plans (IEP) or protocols developed by the SLP.
  • Document student performance and report this information to the supervising SLP.
  • Assist with informal documentation, clerical duties, and equipment maintenance as directed by the SLP.
  • Support the SLP with projects, in-service training, and public relations programs.
  • Exhibit compliance with regulations, reimbursement requirements, and SLPAs job responsibilities and scope of practice.
Requirements:
  • Speech Language Pathology Assistant Degree or BA degree in Communication Disorders.
  • Experience working with school-aged children.
  • Satisfactory background clearance results (fingerprinting required).
  • CPR & first aid cards may be required.
  • DOH Certification which includes 30 hours of CEU/3 years.
