Michaels Stores is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers find products, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help customers locate products, answer questions, and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and assist with enrollments.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including maintaining store recovery standards and ensuring a well-merchandised store.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move throughout the store.
