Store Operations Manager

As a Store Operations Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the store manager in overseeing the sales, appearance, and overall operations of the store. You will be responsible for supervising the professional and retail operations of the store and team members involved, including delivery and installer service specialists, as well as parts and merchandising specialists. You will also be responsible for training new team members, handling performance evaluations, and recommending pay increases. Additionally, you will support the store manager in maintaining safety compliance, ensuring that all team members receive appropriate training, and monitoring/reinforcing safety expectations. You will also be responsible for making sales calls with/without the store manager and may be assigned a schedule for making weekly customer calls. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of delivery fleet and maintaining records for each vehicle. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the store/HUB store is kept neat, clean, and organized at all times. You will also be responsible for learning to utilize the electronic scheduling and timekeeping system and the payroll entry functions. You will also be responsible for learning to manage key components of gross profit, including monitoring professional customer returns for core and warranty abuse, reviewing competitive price matches and price overrides for proper use, and reviewing individual team member productivity and KPI dashboard daily. You will also be responsible for reviewing the monthly P&L statement with the store manager and discussing areas of opportunity. You will also be responsible for possessing excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as the ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately. You will also be responsible for having knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems. You will also be responsible for possessing a high school diploma and completing Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program. You will also be responsible for having the ability to speak multiple languages, with Spanish being highly desired.
