Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, vital signs, and laboratory tests
- Perform clinical intake, data collection, and documentation
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, medication refills, and chart preparation
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Implement age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs
- Reinforce patient education and provide health education materials
- Document and capture charges for clinical support services rendered
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required
- Current Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized national professional association
The job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending, and traveling. Ability to lift/push/pull lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
