SFOP Bilingual Program Coordinator

This position is responsible for providing support and education to Spanish-speaking parents and their children. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Education, Social Work, or Counseling, and be bilingual in Spanish. The role involves providing in-home support, promoting protective factors, and building relationships with community partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide parent education and emotional support to families with identified risk factors
• Promote protective factors and support skill building that impacts family well-being
• Build relationships with community partners and service providers to make referrals and assist families in navigating available resources
• Assess family need and provide developmentally appropriate information, guidance, and support to parents
• Represent the agency and program at various community events
Requirements
• Master's degree in Education, Social Work, or Counseling (can be in process) or an equivalent in years of experience in the field
• Three years experience in a related field
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Effective communication skills
• Valid Colorado Driver's License at time of appointment and throughout employment
