Position Overview:
Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is actively seeking a Research Scientist II to engage in a long-term collaboration with one of our esteemed Global Pharmaceutical partners. This role is integral to our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, which specializes in managed solutions. Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; a master's degree is preferred. PhD candidates are also welcome.
Experience Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in RNA modalities and process development.
- Strong understanding of RNA purification, chemical engineering, or related scientific techniques is highly desirable.
- Practical experience with process development methodologies is essential.
- Hands-on experience with AKTA chromatography systems and Unicorn software is required.
- Must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and possess strong communication abilities, both oral and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude and working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of RNA manufacturing processes by supporting RNA purification and chromatographic research.
- Provide assistance with system programming, preparation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of AKTA chromatography systems.
- Prepare process equipment for laboratory-scale experiments.
- Collaborate with colleagues from process development and other functional areas on analytical testing and sample evaluations.
- Contribute to team efforts while also fulfilling individual responsibilities to meet project deadlines and goals.
- Maintain accurate records, adhere to instructions, and comply with company and EHSS policies.
- Implement improvement initiatives to enhance overall laboratory efficiencies.
- Ensure thorough documentation of experimental procedures.
