Job Opportunity

JRAD, a leading research and development company, is seeking a highly qualified Senior Medical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support health technology development initiatives for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the medical field and will be responsible for:

  • Engaging in a versatile role, collaborating with the Government to define, execute, and oversee technology development initiatives.
  • Providing on-demand proposal support and assisting project leads in executing multiple advanced technology programs.

Program Analysis and Execution:

  • Managing projects, identifying and implementing accessible technology solutions, and identifying technology solutions that need to exist to solve problems.
  • Coordinating program activities with team members, planning tasks, and monitoring execution progress.

Project Management:

  • Supporting the oversight of program activity, budget, and contractor progress.
  • Ensuring efficient operations and timely product completion.

Contract and Acquisition Support:

  • Providing contract management and acquisition support.
  • Developing program briefings for Government stakeholders.
  • Contributing to program plans, briefings, and technical reports.

Technical Support and Communication:

  • Organizing technical meetings and conferences.
  • Assisting in the development of technical documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • MD degree required.
  • 14+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in emergency medicine, medical center design improvements, or serving as a business development advisor within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.

  • The ability to obtain or maintain Public Trust.
