Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Prime Occupational Services LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare professionals, including preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and performing basic laboratory tests.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as phlebotomy, injections, and EKGs, under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing medical records.
Requirements
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions. The worker must also have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
