Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to physicians and patients, including preparing patients for examinations and procedures, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Conduct vital sign measurements, obtain medical histories, and document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with patient education and counseling, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; five years of medical assisting experience preferred.
- Current certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and patients.
