Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for selling and ordering product for customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Orders product at accounts on an assigned sales route, determining product needs and placing and transmitting appropriate orders.
  • Executes and sells big event marketing, pillar programming, innovation, and mandated features and ad activity to ensure customer satisfaction and company standards are being met.
  • Builds, changes, and removes product displays and POS (Point of Sale), ensuring proper pricing and maintaining a clean and organized product space.
  • Communicates account activities with the customer to ensure quality and timely service, working with and collaborating internally with merchandisers and drivers.
  • Maintains end-to-end ownership of the account through appropriate action and/or communication.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience required, with customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets preferred.
  • Basic computer application and technology skills required, as well as a valid Driver's License and current vehicle liability insurance.
  • Must be open to flexible schedule and willing to work some holidays to meet customer demands.
Physical Requirements

Field work intensive, with daily and weekly travel to local accounts and prospect sites. Lifting occasionally up to 50 lbs or less, with the ability to professionally represent the employer at the customer location required.
