Deposit Operations Support Team Lead

Pioneer is seeking a seasoned Deposit Operations Support Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of the Deposit Operations staff. Reporting directly to the Deposit Operations Officer, this role is responsible for ensuring the team's tasks are completed thoroughly, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily activities of the Deposit Operations staff, including task assignment, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Review and approve assigned work from the Deposit Operations team to guarantee quality and accuracy.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, such as Fed Statement reconciliation, General Ledger Accounts analysis, and Billing.
- Drive team motivation and focus, promoting high-quality work and exceptional customer experiences.
- Act as a liaison with the retail branch network, resolving and escalating issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly metrics and reports for Management review, including reports for the Operations Management Team, Executive Team, and Board of Directors.
- Maintain a deep understanding of all tasks completed by the Deposit Operations Team to fill in and assist when required.
- Engage actively in project initiatives within the Deposit Operations Department and bank-wide projects.
- Streamline processes within the Deposit Operations area to enhance operational effectiveness and client experience through process analysis and workflow redesign.
- Assist in evaluating performance and providing feedback to the Deposit Operations Officer to ensure coaching employees to professionalism, customer service expectations, and career development.
Pioneer offers a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience, for this role. The ideal candidate will possess:
- An Associate's degree in business or a related field, or at least 5 years' experience in the banking industry.
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in banking operations.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous style and commitment to an outstanding customer experience.
- A working knowledge of computer operating systems and various office automation software, such as Word, Excel, MS-Exchange.
