Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with system/software vendors and Security Engineers/Architects to understand and implement security requirements.
- Ensure RedHat Enterprise Linux systems align with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmarks.
- Write, debug, and maintain scripts using Python and Ansible.
- Use SYSLOG and SIEM solutions to monitor the RedHat environment.
- Ensure systems adhere to patch management processes and cybersecurity standards.
- Implement secure OS and application configurations using DevSecOps tools and processes.
- Collaborate with the Vulnerability Management Team to remediate vulnerabilities through automation.
- 1+ years of experience working as a RedHat Linux systems administrator.
- Hands-on experience running RedHat servers in a virtualized environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Python & Ansible operations.
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of APIs, Configuration Management Practices, and JSON (JavaScript Object Notation).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science or related field.
- Authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Willing to travel between 5-15%.
