Job Summary:

As a Program Coordinator for Residential Life at Harvard University, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of student leadership and creating a vibrant undergraduate social space. This position involves providing administrative and event support for a portfolio of Residential Life programs, including programming for the First-Year Experience, House Committees, Residential Staff Training, Sophomore Orientation, and Housing Day events.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute Residential Life programs, including events, workshops, and activities that promote student engagement and community building.

Serve as a point of contact for partner offices participating in Residential Life programs, such as the Center for Wellness and Health Promotion, Harvard Art Museums, and the Office of International Education.

Foster an inclusive environment reflective of Harvard's values of diversity and belonging, and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity among students, staff, and faculty.

Oversee the management and maintenance of the venue space in the basement of Annenberg, formerly known as Cambridge Queen's Head Pub, and coordinate rental of premises and audio-video systems as needed.

Create invoices for internal and external CQH space reservations annually, collect revenue by check for external space rentals, and deposit checks via credit voucher with assistance of the Assistant Director of Administration and Finance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or relevant full-time work experience.

Minimum of 2-4 years relevant work experience in student affairs and/or student programming.

Experience in event management, financial management, and budget processes.

Demonstrated ability to engage and advise students and student organizations, and to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
