Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures under the direction of a supervisor.
- Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
- Auditing, stocking, and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures, and documentation.
- Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting.
- Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System.
- High school diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Technician, Patient Care Technician, or Emergency Medical Technician, or Associate's degree if no clinical experience.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to occasionally lift patients and equipment, as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
