Anesthesia Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist anesthesiologists and other medical professionals during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures.
- Set up and maintain anesthesia supply stations, calibrate equipment, and perform high-level sterilization procedures.
- Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting and order supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or associate's degree required; 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician, Patient Care Technician, or Emergency Medical Technician preferred.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to lift patients and equipment, as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
