Cloud Solutions Architect

A client of CRG is actively looking for a talented Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance their dynamic team. This position is crucial for overseeing cloud-based solutions that improve the infrastructure and service delivery for clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to determine project timelines and strategies for enhancing IT infrastructure.
  • Engage with the community to improve user experiences.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of comprehensive security protocols.
  • Guide team members in enterprise infrastructure best practices and encourage their professional growth.
  • Evaluate infrastructure needs, recommend enhancements, and ensure ongoing maintenance of enterprise systems, including security updates.
  • Assist in the design and upkeep of an inventory for enterprise hardware and software, and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
  • Execute operating system and core software installations and upgrades.
  • Stay updated with technology trends and maintain skills to adopt new technologies.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors on hardware and software challenges, and assess departmental needs for new IT projects.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright laws as outlined in software licensing policies.
  • Maintain and support core systems infrastructure.
  • Provide insights for the maintenance of telecommunication networks.
  • Assist users with the deployment of new equipment and related procedures.
  • Keep informed about current cloud and on-premises technologies and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field; relevant experience or certifications may substitute for formal education. AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) certification is required, with AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) certification preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in an IT role supporting enterprise-level infrastructure and user assistance.
  • Expertise in software and cloud technologies, including O365, M365, and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewall configurations, and wireless installations.
  • Proficient in VDI, hyper-converged technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Advanced understanding of both physical and virtualized systems using VMWare.
  • Familiarity with PC applications such as O365 products, MS Project, Visio, MS SQL, and Windows server/client platforms.
  • Expertise in P2V migration strategies involving Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools like CiscoPrime and Solarwinds.
  • Advanced skills in on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra, Group Policy, and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing the IT knowledge base for assigned responsibilities.
