A CRG client is currently in search of a proficient Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance their dynamic team. Salary: Competitive annual compensation starting at $100,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to determine project timelines and strategies for enhancing IT infrastructure.
  • Engage with the community to improve user experiences.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of comprehensive security protocols.
  • Guide team members in enterprise infrastructure practices and foster their professional growth.
  • Evaluate infrastructure needs, propose enhancements, and ensure ongoing maintenance of enterprise systems, including security updates.
  • Assist in the design and upkeep of an inventory for enterprise hardware and software, and contribute to disaster recovery strategies.
  • Oversee operating system and core software installations and upgrades.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and maintain skills for implementing new solutions.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors to resolve hardware and software challenges, while assessing departmental needs and optimizing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright laws as outlined in software licensing agreements.
  • Maintain and support core systems infrastructure.
  • Provide insights for the maintenance and support of telecommunications networks.
  • Assist users with the integration of new equipment and related procedures.
  • Keep informed about current cloud and on-premises technologies, offering recommendations for upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field; relevant experience or certifications may substitute for formal education. AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) certification is required, with AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) certification preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in an IT role supporting enterprise-level infrastructure and user assistance.
  • Extensive knowledge of software and cloud technologies, including O365, M365, and Azure.
  • In-depth understanding of networking technologies such as routing, switching, firewall configurations, and wireless systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of VDI, hyper-converged technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Proficient in both physical and virtualized systems using VMWare.
  • Familiarity with PC applications, including O365 products, MS Project, Visio, MS SQL, and Windows platforms.
  • Expertise in P2V migration strategies involving Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools like CiscoPrime and Solarwinds.
  • Strong background in on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra, Group Policy, and Microsoft Server and Client operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the IT knowledge base for assigned areas in accordance with established standards.
