Job Summary:

Blasius Auto Centers, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Brookfield, Connecticut. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive base salary plus commission structure.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating sales and ensuring a positive customer experience at our dealership. You will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our vehicles, products, and services, and actively listen and respond to customers' needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times.

This is an individual contributor role that requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for customer service. You will conduct test drives with potential customers, highlighting key features and benefits of our vehicles, and negotiate sale and lease options on new and used vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our vehicles, products, and services
  • Actively listen and respond to customers' needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times
  • Conduct test drives with potential customers, highlighting key features and benefits of our vehicles
  • Negotiate sale and lease options on new and used vehicles
  • Utilize various sales techniques to close deals and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Generate and follow up on leads to generate new business
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas set by the dealership
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activity
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products and services
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices
  • Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education in sales or business is a plus
  • Prior experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of CRM software
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
