Job Summary

As a Branch Team Associate at Jon-Don, you will be responsible for working in our showroom to maintain a well-stocked environment, replenishing products as needed, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a Monday through Friday 1st shift position that requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

About Jon-Don

We partner with contractors, facilities managers, and business owners to provide them with the products and equipment they need to tackle their toughest jobs. With 16 branches strategically located throughout the United States, we serve industries ranging from carpet cleaning to janitorial, restoration, and concrete polishing/surface prep.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers
  • Assist customers in locating products and loading/unloading orders
  • Set up displays and product demonstrations
  • Perform general warehouse duties, such as picking orders and stocking shelves
  • Field inbound phone calls and process sales and service orders
  • Assist all departments with various business activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Cycle counts and inventory
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Some retail sales experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Standing for long periods of time while providing customer service
  • Exposure to noise and vibrations from various equipment
  • Physical activity includes standing, regular walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs and ladders, working on elevated platforms, and using hands for lifting and pulling
  • Regular lifts or moves up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequently lifts or moves up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally lifts or moves up to 100 lbs.
  • Operation of powered equipment, such as forklifts
