Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse I to join our team at MUSC Health & Medical University of SC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families, utilizing principles and practices of the nursing process.

Responsibilities
  • Assist at the advanced beginner level in providing nursing care to patients and families.
  • Interact with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to work in a latex-safe environment.
  • Ability to maintain good olfactory sensory function.
