Como conductor de transporte CDL para Spee-Dee Delivery, serás responsable de operar un camión de tractora-remolque o un camión recto para transportar paquetes entre terminales.

Horarios y Salarios:

  • Lunes a Viernes, 10:30 PM - finalización de la ruta
  • Horas extras pagadas a tiempo y medio después de 40 horas por semana
  • Salario inicial: $ por hora, basado en la experiencia
  • +$2.00 de prima por turno para horarios de inicio entre 5:00 PM - 4:59 AM

Tareas y Responsabilidades:

  • Realiza una inspección previa al viaje del vehículo antes de conducir para asegurar que el equipo mecánico, de seguridad y de emergencia esté en buen estado de funcionamiento
  • Entrega el formulario de inspección previa al viaje y completa los formularios de millaje y mantenimiento
  • Conduce entre terminales para transportar paquetes
  • Informa sobre defectos del vehículo, accidentes, violaciones de tráfico o daños a los vehículos
  • Lava el exterior de la tractora y el equipo diariamente
  • Mantiene todas las certificaciones requeridas por el DOT y las políticas de seguridad de la empresa
  • Asiste con otras tareas, según sea necesario

Experiencia y Calificaciones:

  • Debe poseer una licencia de conducir CDL Clase A válida y tener un buen historial de conducción
  • Debe tener al menos 21 años de edad
  • Capacidad para conducir una transmisión manual
  • Debe poseer o tener la capacidad de obtener un endoso de dobles/triples
  • Debe tener buenas habilidades de servicio al cliente y organización
  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y tomar decisiones rápidas
  • Capacidad para pasar un examen físico del DOT y levantar hasta 100 libras ocasionalmente y 50 libras repetidamente. Se requiere levantar objetos por encima de la cabeza
  • Capacidad para trabajar con todo tipo de carga, que incluye, pero no se limita a: material peligroso, alimentos perecederos y alcohol, armas de fuego, municiones y animales vivos
  • Rango completo de movimiento sin limitaciones en agarre, estar de pie, agacharse, subir escaleras, caminar, etc.
  • El entorno de trabajo requiere tiempo al aire libre en condiciones climáticas cambiantes, así como en un vehículo y otros peligros relacionados con las condiciones de la carretera, la operación del vehículo y el contenido del paquete
