Amergis is seeking a dedicated School Aide to support students with instructional and behavioral needs in the Buellton, CA area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with math, reading, speech, and independent skills under the supervision of the special education department.
  • Facilitate teacher-directed learning activities, including lesson plans, worksheets, and reinforcement systems.
  • Communicate with teachers and parents to ensure student progress and well-being.
  • Accompany students during recess, lunch, and community experiences.
  • Adhere to confidentiality requirements and maintain a professional demeanor.

Requirements:

  • Comply with professional standards of practice.
  • Participate in Amergis' Competency program.
  • Hold current CPR certification (if applicable).
  • Meet federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
