Job Title: Elementary Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our team at Lompoc Unified School District. As an Elementary Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality education to students in grades TK-6, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
  • Valid California teaching credential with EL or CLAD authorization
  • Experience working with students in grades TK-6
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
