Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives at the program level, which includes researching, designing, advocating for, training staff on, and implementing effective controls, systems, policies, and protocols that ensure compliance with contracts and legal requirements, promote high-quality program performance, and enhance client service.
- Develop and maintain various audit tools, assessments, surveys, reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), data systems, and dashboards to effectively monitor and communicate program impact, performance, compliance, and client experiences.
- Provide recommendations for improvement initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with the BronxWorks CQI team to create and uphold best practice policies and procedures across departments.
- Ensure that all necessary steps are taken to maintain applicable program operating licenses and credentials.
- Facilitate comprehensive staff training on relevant topics, including charting, applicable laws and regulations, contract requirements, and data entry protocols.
- Conduct internal CQI audits to help the program minimize findings during external audits.
- Assist in preparing the program for external audits and develop corrective action plans in response to audit findings.
- Manage all aspects of data reporting and integrity for the program.
- Support funder site visits, audits, and other evaluative activities.
- Assist in managing incident management practices and identify patterns or trends to recommend preventive or corrective actions.
- Availability for limited evening and weekend hours may be required.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in program operations, assessment, or program evaluation is necessary.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard business technologies is required.
- Experience with software-based data systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds.
- Capability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods.
- Ability to climb stairs if required for fieldwork.
- Ability to retrieve objects and documents as needed.
- Willingness to travel within the boroughs of New York City and adjacent counties using public transportation.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 1 mile in various weather conditions for fieldwork.
