L3Harris Technologies seeks a highly skilled Senior Field Engineer to support the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) with expertise in system hardware and software integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software issues to ensure system maintenance and support.
  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and integrate specialized system hardware and software at site.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting DCGS operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Participate in enterprise-wide testing with other Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) ground stations.
  • Coordinate with other on-site contractors to support system operations and troubleshooting.
  • Provide daily coordination with the customer to support on-site operations and ensure system status.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems, determine technical solutions, and recommend actions to company representatives.
  • Conduct technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives.

Requirements:



  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD 8570 Security + certification prior to working at the site.
  • BachelorDegree with a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications:



  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong experience with DCGS systems, Linux operating system, and computer networking principles.
  • Former military experience and relevant certifications (RHCSA, CCNA) are a plus.
  • Capable of lifting over 50 lbs. and working in confined spaces.
  • Familiar with industry standard computer/electronic repair practices.
