We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseman to join our team at Four Winds Casino. Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Execution: Set up and prepare banquet rooms, buffets, and tables according to specifications and supervisor instructions.
  • Guest Service: Handle all guest requests and concerns, and communicate effectively with the Banquet Supervisor as needed.
  • Room Maintenance: Ensure that all storerooms are clean, organized, and secured, and that all unused rooms are set to department standards.
  • Equipment Management: Assist in equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair, and ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Pick up food from the kitchen, return dirty dishes and carts to the dish area, and ensure that hot boxes are properly operating.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless service and communication.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and files, and attend staff set-up and technical training as required.
  • Adherence to Policies: Enforce all department and casino-wide policies and procedures, and maintain a commitment to excellence in customer service and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Licensing: Level 4 Gaming License required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth execution of events. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
