Soar Autism Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive services to children with autism and their families.

Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting multidisciplinary assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing communication interventions to support client communication. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a license to practice speech pathology, and experience working with children with autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create treatment plans with other clinical specialties.
  • Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
  • Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • License to practice speech pathology.
  • Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children.
