Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity at Soar Autism Center

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Soar Autism Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism and their families thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with autism
  • Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans to improve communication skills of children aged 2-6
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education, resources, and support to enhance their child's communication development
  • Continuously monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center
  • Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
  • Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children
