Job Summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a highly skilled MTSS Facilitator to support the district's efforts in data-driven instruction and student support. As a key member of the district's MTSS team, the successful candidate will work closely with school leaders, teachers, and student services staff to establish and strengthen school-wide systems, structures, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Universal Screening and Diagnostic Assessments: Oversee the development and implementation of systems and processes for universal screening and administration of diagnostic assessments to identify students who require supplemental or intensive supports.
  • Student Progress Monitoring: Develop and support school-wide processes for student progress monitoring to gauge student responses to interventions at regular intervals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and report student screening rates, intervention provision rates, and student improvement rates to inform instructional decisions and drive student growth.
  • Professional Development and Coaching: Provide professional development and coaching to teachers on using data to drive instructional decisions and improve student learning outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school leaders, teachers, and student services staff to identify school improvement plan goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a K-12 educational setting, with a focus on data-driven instruction and student support.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of MTSS frameworks, data analysis, and instructional design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience in a role associated with training, professional development, or conducting presentations.
