Job Summary:
The Passenger Rail Car Cleaner plays a crucial role in upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards for passenger rail vehicles in accordance with established schedules. Adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations is essential, ensuring compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polish lighting fixtures, floors, seating areas, and various surfaces.
- Sanitize and replenish restroom supplies.
- Clean carpets, upholstery, and window treatments.
- Dust and maintain furniture and equipment.
- Wash windows and door panels.
- Manage waste disposal and transport refuse to designated locations.
- Replace light bulbs and ensure cleanliness around waste disposal areas.
- Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Carry out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in custodial services is preferred.
- Successful completion of pre-employment assessments.
Hourly wage range for Passenger Rail Car Cleaner: $17-$19 per hour.
