Position Overview:

The Respiratory Therapist provides critical airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management, and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy with communication to physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Provide care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Preferred
  • Education: Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
  • Licensure/Certification: Certified Respiratory Therapist Required, NC Respiratory Care Practitioner Required, Basic Life Support Required, and Registered Respiratory Therapist Required within 1 Year of Hire


Work Schedule:

  • 3 days, 12 hour shifts


Weekend and Call Requirements:

  • Every Third Weekend
  • Yes, call requirements apply
