Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Cardiopulmonary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a 300-bed facility. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care services to patients in various areas of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the hospital, including emergency rooms and intensive care units.
  • Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using a blood gas analyzer.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in respiratory care and participate in continuing education programs.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Required
  • Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - to be obtained within 6 months
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - to be obtained within 6 months
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) - to be obtained within 6 months
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc.; and licensed by the State of West Virginia
