Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper to join our team at Verity CPAs. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection of invoices.
  3. Payroll Processing: Process payroll, including calculating wages, preparing payroll tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
  5. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of financial matters.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a strong background in financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, and payroll processing.
  2. Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in financial software, including accounting and payroll systems.
  3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, management, and other team members.
