Job Summary

The Clinic Administrator is a key member of the CommonSpirit Health team, responsible for managing the daily administrative and technical support functions of a medical clinic. This role requires a strong leader who can anticipate and plan for future changes, while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Clinic Staff: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring that all staff members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate Clinic Operations: Coordinate the activities of the clinic to ensure that all sections are functioning at a high level of proficiency and quality.
  • Employee Performance Management: Complete performance appraisals and set individual goals for employees, ensuring that they are meeting the expectations of the clinic.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of employees, including hiring, training, and development, salary recommendations, and other related tasks.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Prepare, recommend, and monitor the clinic budget, goals, and objectives, taking into consideration input from clinic staff.
  • Policies and Procedures: Participate in the planning and development of policies and procedures, as well as clinic-specific procedures and programs.
  • Performance Goals and Objectives: Work with the Regional Director to develop and implement performance goals and objectives.
  • Long-Range Planning: Assist the Regional Director with the implementation and development of long-range plans.
  • Payroll and Time Management: Monitor the payroll system to control time management and ensure that all employees are accurately paid.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the clinic is in compliance with all regulatory, licensure, compliance, and accreditation requirements.
  • Patient and External Customer Complaints: Serve as the first point of contact for patient and external customer complaints, reconcile, and investigate all complaints relating to practice operations.
  • Liaison with Central Billing Office: Act as the liaison between the practice and Central Billing Office.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, or a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the discipline, or a Master's Degree and no experience. 5 to 7 years of experience is preferred.
