Practical Nursing Specialist

WORK SCHEDULE:
We offer a variety of shifts including 8, 12, or 16 hours, primarily during morning and overnight hours, with some mid shifts available. Enjoy the flexibility to choose your work hours, whether you prefer full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities.
CASE TYPES:
Our prominent cases involve specialized care such as gastrostomy tube (G-Tube) management, tracheostomy (trach) care, and mechanical ventilation support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Conduct focused interviews to determine specific patient needs.
- Monitor and assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in patients.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members, documenting nursing diagnoses as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned for Practical Nursing Specialists.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a current Practical Nursing license in the state of practice.
- Possess a valid Health Certificate as required by the facility.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray documentation.
- Hold a valid BLS certification.
- One year of prior experience in practical nursing is preferred.
