Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at CPS Technologies Corp. as a lead member of the CPS Quality Assurance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the application of quality tools to define problems, initiate containment actions, identify root cause(s), and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurrence.
  • Plan and lead the execution of internal audits to maintain compliance of the CPS Quality Management System to ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Participate in customer, external, and third-party audits and assessments.
  • Work with CPS Purchasing in the monitoring and reporting of external provider quality and on-time delivery performance.
  • Issue and drive the timely response to and closure of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
  • Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators and metrics, including product yield, on-time delivery, product defect categories, etc.
  • Ensure all quality monitoring and measuring devices are properly maintained and calibrated within established frequencies.
  • Support the development and introduction of new products or changes to existing products to enhance manufacturability and reduce waste.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP, M2M, QT9, or other ERP systems.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of AS 9100 Quality Management System requirements is a plus.
