Job Title: Part Time Perfusion Program Support

Virginia Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perfusion Program Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of new courses and program policies for our proposed Master of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the chairperson of the department to design multiple new courses, the program handbook, and the accreditation self-study.
  • Provide content expertise on clinical practice of cardiovascular perfusion, 2019 Perfusion Standards, and strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Develop new course syllabi and program administrative documents that meet the requirements of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), Accreditation Committee-Perfusion Education 2019 Standards.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
  • Master's degree.
  • At least three years of experience working as a Certified Cardiovascular Perfusionist.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as an instructor in an accredited educational program or experience in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.
  • At least five years of experience working as a Certified Cardiovascular Perfusionist.
