Cardiac Perfusion Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Perfusionist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate must be certified to practice as a Perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. This position is for adult cardiac perfusion, with our program performing over 1100 perfusion-related procedures annually.
The schedule is 4 10-hour shifts per week, with the option to go home early when finished with work. On-call is one day per week and one weekend per month, primarily for the OR, but may also include calls for VAD equipment needs or assisting in the cath lab with temporary VAD insertion.
We prioritize work-life balance and have a supportive staff. Our program is unique in offering a full scope of cardiothoracic surgery, transplant, and aortic surgery, allowing our Perfusionists to work at the top of their scope.
The Perfusionists cover all CV intraoperative cases, cath lab cases, heart, lung, and liver transplants, and aortic aneurysms. Mechanical device support includes HM2, HM3, HeartWare, Centrimag, Tandem Heart, and Syncardia. EMR system orientation will be provided to new providers.
Compensation is dependent on experience, with a range of $95K-$160K. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, matching 403B, relocation assistance, and 4-5 weeks of vacation.
