Surgical Pathologist Opportunity at Duke Health

Job Summary: Duke Health Integrated Practice is seeking a dynamic pathologist with excellent surgical pathology skills for a full-time position in the Community Pathology Division at Duke Raleigh Hospital.
About the Role: As a surgical pathologist in our community practice, you will be part of a team of seven pathologists dedicated to delivering accurate, concise, and timely pathology services to patients and their physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality surgical pathology services to patients and their physicians.
- Collaborate with the predominantly subspecialty-based pathology faculty at the main Duke campus.
- Opportunity for teaching/resident education and collaboration with the community practice.
- Pathology services provided at Duke Regional Hospital, a 388-bed acute care hospital serving Durham, Orange, and surrounding counties.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree, valid NC medical license, and ABP Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Excellent diagnostic skills, superior communication skills, and ability to function well in a team setting.
- Demonstrated experience and/or additional training in areas of oncologic surgical pathology, specifically breast and gynecologic pathology, and/or subspecialty fellowship training in cytopathology.
