About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead our team in delivering innovative solutions for complex water resource challenges. As a key member of our San Antonio office, you will be responsible for managing teams of engineers and scientists, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large, complex projects from concept to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget constraints are met.
  • Lead stormwater infrastructure design development, ensuring design disciplines work collaboratively and efficiently.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical documents, and contracts.
  • Capitalise on existing on-call contracts with major clients in Texas to identify and target new opportunities.
  • Build and manage project teams, mentoring mid-level and junior engineers and scientists.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in flood studies, stormwater/water resources projects, and municipal engineering.
  • Experience as Engineer of Record for stormwater/water resources projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including MS4 jurisdictions in Texas or the Southwest region.
