As a leading institution recognized for excellence in orthopedics and rheumatology, we are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team. This role focuses on the support and management of Epic System's OpTime and Anesthesia modules, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in all facets of the OpTime and Anesthesia applications, including configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of perioperative workflows and adhere to established documentation standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing workflows and design efficient future workflows.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among perioperative and anesthesia staff.
  • Manage system change requests and prioritize them based on user needs.
  • Ensure comprehensive test scripts are developed and updated to reflect current workflows.
  • Collaborate with Epic representatives using appropriate tools to enhance system performance.
  • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders to effectively manage competing demands.
  • Analyze software and business requirements, collaborating with various teams to ensure system alignment with organizational needs.
  • Document internal processes and procedures meticulously.
  • Work with the training team to enhance end-user adoption of system functionalities.
  • Thoroughly evaluate new releases and enhancements to assess their impact on operations.
  • Stay informed about Epic technologies and maintain necessary certifications.
  • Monitor support tickets and resolve issues promptly within established service levels.
  • Provide on-site support during system implementations and upgrades.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Certification in Epic applications for OpTime and Anesthesia is essential.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare IT environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends during critical support phases.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with clinical staff, is preferred.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a hybrid work setting, requiring three days on-site attendance.
