Broadway Bank is seeking a highly skilled Consumer Real Estate Loan Processor/Closer I to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage lending division, you will be responsible for processing consumer real estate loans in compliance with bank policies, regulations, and approved loan terms.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and process loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with borrowers, banking center staff, and title companies to facilitate smooth loan closings.
- Prepare and review closing worksheets, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and timely.
- Manage the ordering and tracking of evaluations/appraisals, flood certificates, and title searches/title commitments.
- Develop and maintain procedures for consumer real estate processing, ensuring comprehensive compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Minimum of 1 year of banking experience with real estate loan documentation.
- High school diploma required; completion of relevant courses on home equity lending, documentation, and compliance is essential.
- Strong understanding of home equity rules and regulations, consumer loan real estate documentation, and loan accounting.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
