About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications and marketing strategies that support our mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communication plans, evaluation methods, and creative direction for various marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with local departments to achieve business and market goals.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively work with all levels of management throughout UnityPoint Health.
  • Contribute to the successful creation of marketing campaigns and coordinate community special events, programs, and seminars.
  • Build effective relationships with the media and/or community contacts and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, public relations, or marketing.
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, and/or marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, creative ability, and knowledge of current trends and techniques in marketing, public relations, media relations, advertising, and social media.
