Chief Revenue Officer - Office of Advancement

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy to drive growth and meet annual fundraising goals.
  • Lead a team of experienced professionals in finance, gift administration, and data analytics to ensure seamless execution of revenue operations.
  • Collaborate with University leadership, including the Vice President of Advancement and the Board of Directors, to align revenue operations with the University's strategic goals.
  • Partner with senior leaders in Advancement to ensure progress against campaign goals and priorities.
  • Design, implement, and maintain industry-best-practice standard processes for planning donor solicitations, reviewing, managing, and tracking donor solicitation strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA or similar master's degree preferred.
  • 10-20 years of progressive work experience in higher education or a private sector equivalent.
  • Experience in both frontline fundraising and in organizational operations and management.
  • Track record of successfully managing operations in a complex organization.
  • Ability to coordinate the work of fundraising with the University's academic operation and financial priorities.
  • Skilled manager and leader able to build and guide complex and functionally diverse teams.
  • Expertise in communications, change management, and fundraising matrixes.
Work Mode Designation:

This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University.

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $167,633.00 - $327,721.83

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
