Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during operative and invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support during operative and invasive procedures
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current in CPR, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum two years previous OR experience
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees
  • Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse
