Medical Screener

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors by conducting thorough medical screenings and collecting vital signs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical screenings and collect vital signs from donors
- Use our Donor Information System to record and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the donation process
- Work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes
- Support a clean and professional work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned: Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1), Certified Phlebotomy Technician 2 (CPT2), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace

Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $19.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match.
