Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse On Call to join our hospice team. This full-time position will work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM, with full-time benefits and PTO.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager Senior and will maintain primary control and professional management of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary liaison between physician, patient/family, and hospice team
  • Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patients family after normal business hours on an on-call basis
  • Manage an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice care
  • Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patient
  • Maintain all assigned patient clinical records
  • Participate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs
About You

We are looking for a compassionate, kind, and empathetic individual who is a current RN license holder (in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain) with 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
