Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Carillon Health and Rehab Center. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their physical function and independence.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this job is to assist patients in achieving their physical goals and facilitating their return to optimal function. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and provide support with mobility and transfers.
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college.
  • Current and valid OTA license granted from the state of employment.
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
