We are seeking a Staff Accountant who is eager to advance their financial career within the sports and entertainment sector. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct account analysis, prepare journal entries, and perform account reconciliations while providing support to the Director and Controller.
- Prepare comprehensive balance sheet and income statement analyses and assist in fulfilling audit requests as needed.
- Deliver timely and detailed monthly and quarterly analyses of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts, including substantiation of account balances and recommendations for adjusting journal entries.
- Generate schedules for internal, external, and tax-related purposes.
- Assist in the completion of monthly financial closes.
- Provide financial insights and monthly analyses to various corporate departments.
- Support daily accounting operations and complete special projects accurately and promptly.
- Propose enhancements for company-wide financial systems and digital technologies to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
- Accountability: Own your projects and deliver results from start to finish.
- Adaptability: Adjust to changing priorities and demands with ease.
- Collaboration: Foster strong relationships across the organization and with external partners.
- Enthusiasm: Bring a positive attitude and energy to your role every day.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably a mix of public and private accounting.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Exceptional customer service and account management skills.
- A genuine interest in learning and developing your skill set.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Experience with BC365 is a plus.
